During my stint as a news reporter, I won two awards for my investigative news stories on the plight of women cops in India. Both awards were jointly conferred by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and Population First (PF).

Fellowships

The World health Organisation (WHO) chose me for two Journalism Fellowships in 2015 and 2016. The Center For Media Studies (CMS), India, coordinated the first fellowship which lasted for four months. Washington DC-based International Center Journalists (ICFJ) ran the next fellowship for five months. As the sole representative of Indian Media, I joined 12 journalists from across the globe.
